Request for Proposals: Procurement Consultant Background Jacaranda Health aims to set a new standard for maternity care in East Africa. Our ambition is to become the largest chain of maternity clinics in the region, and a leader in innovation in maternal health services. Our goal is to provide accessible, affordable, patient centered maternity and reproductive health services to low-income women. The Job We are currently seeking the services of a consultant with expertise in procurement of medical supplies and equipment in consultation with the management team. Some of the key areas to be addressed by the consultant during the period of engagement are; Reviewing of all current Jacaranda policies and procedures related to procurement and tendering. Creating or refining policies and procedures as needed, including a detailed process manual for inventory and procurement Establishing relationships with leading suppliers in Nairobi (making introductions, reviewing product lines, establishing lines of credit, etc.) Making recommendations on how procurement will be staffed and managed going forward (Optional) Developing technological tools to automate procurement and/or inventory processes To submit your interest 1
