Job Framework – Monitoring and Evaluation Officer for African Health Markets for Equity Project Role: M&E Officer Reports To: Project Manager AHME Liaises With: Research M&E Manager Project: AHME Duty Station: Support Office, Nairobi with constant travel to the field sites. Purpose of the role The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer is a core member of the AHME project management team and is primarily responsible and accountable for supporting the development and implementation of the project’s M&E plan, including development of a project performance monitoring plan and reporting system to assess the results of the project activities. Under the overall supervision of the Research, Monitoring and evaluation Manager, and the direct supervision of the AHME project manager, the M&E officer will contribute to efforts that monitor projects outputs against work plan and targets, including those of the Service Providers for the overall AHME project. Key responsibilities Establish a results-oriented monitoring plan including the performance management plan indicators Provide technical support and guidance on reporting tools, data management processes, analysis and interpretation to project implementation team
