Amongst its key products being a teen publication which is a Kenya’s leading teen publication and has been in print for the last 11 years is looking to grow its magazine consistently and would like to get a Copy Editor Requirements Excellent written English, including good spelling and grammar A meticulous approach to your work and an eye for detail An ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines A love of and feel for language, and especially youth culture Ability to produce fresh, funky & fantastic ideas is absolutely mandatory A degree in Journalism, Communication or equivalent At least 4 years experience as a copy editing in a magazine/newspaper environment Able to work in a team as well as independently Completely computer literate and tech savvy A genuine interest in youth – proven participation with youth will be an added advantage Must have a portfolio of work If you are up to the challenge, posses the necessary qualification and experience, please send your CV only indicating why you are the most suitable candidate for the role clearly quoting the job title Copy Editor ( Gross Salary; 50k-80k) on the email subject to jobs@corporatestaffing.co.ke.
