Position: Consultant - Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Programming Duty Station: Nairobi, Kenya Duration of the Initial Contract: 30 days Application Deadline: Friday 24th August 2012 Ref: Consultant JP GEWE UN Women under the auspices of the UN Joint Programme on Gender and Women’s Empowerment (JP-GEWE) is procuring the services of a senior consultant to support the development of a database for gender experts and train/develop training modules for different levels of staff on gender programming, M&E at different stages of the UN programming cycle and with different UN (inter-agency) teams. Specific tasks for the assignment are to: Develop a road map and criteria for the setting up of a gender expert roster for the UN system in Kenya Research and develop guidelines to integrate gender in every step of the UN programming cycle and include in training modules as appropriate.
