Vacancy: Bookkeeper Location: Moyale, Kenya Dorcas is a Christian relief and development organisation active in Eastern Europe and Africa. In these regions Dorcas works together with local partner organisations. Dorcas is committed to fulfil the command Jesus Christ gave to His followers to take care of the poor and oppressed (Mt.25.31-46), irrespective of their race, religion, gender or political conviction, by encouraging self-reliance through development, providing social care and assisting in emergency situations. Dorcas will expand its Agriculture, Food Security, Livelihoods and Disaster Management program (AFLM) to Moyale region in Kenya and Ethiopia. For the Kenyan side of this cross border AFLM program aimed at reducing the underlying causes of conflict in the Horn of Africa, Dorcas is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper with a possible start Date of June 2014 to be stationed in Moyale.
